A Divine Setup

This is one our favorite times of the year. Each Valentine’s day we celebrate the fact that 49 years ago on Feb 14th Sally and I sat across the table from each other at a sweetheart banquet. We were victims of a practical joke that backfired on the ones who orchestrated the prank. During the meal we realized we were both called to the mission field and by the end of the meal we made plans to minister together the next week. It didn’t take long to realize that God had put us together and the call of God became the focus of our life together. A few months later, Aug 4th, we married and the rest is history.

We have just returned home from Belize Central America where we first spent a couple of days relaxing on the island of Caye Caulker. The wind off the Caribbean Sea kept it pleasant, so we rested and enjoyed lots of fresh seafood. Our time with Oliver and Dale was special; they are a lovely couple that currently pastor a church in Basel but are seeking to hear clear direction for the years ahead. They have a real passion for revival in the nation of Belize and are praying for a real breakthrough.

After a few of days of rest we traveled to Belmopan the capital city and had a couple of meetings. Then we traveled North to Orange Walk where Dale’s family lives and we spoke in two or three different churches there. Thank you for praying for us; we saw the Holy Spirit move in each meeting and know that many seeds of revival were sown. This nation has experienced revival in the past, but they are in despite need of a fresh wind of the Spirit.

We have this week at home getting caught up with the mail, enjoying our family and getting further acquainted with our new granddaughter. This is one of our favorite photos at the moment showing our youngest grandson Magnus, holding our newest arrival, Alice.

We will be participating this weekend in a ministry at Dayspring focused on developing richer family relationships as we build the kingdom. Dr. Tim Johns, Michael Sullivant and I will be sharing on the nature of DNA family groups and how these dynamic life connections cause the body of Christ to grow as God intended. When we allow the Holy Spirit to live in and through us, life results. If you are in the area, come join us Saturday the 16th as we delve into this study.

Next, we will be going to Shawnee, Oklahoma for the IC Summit Conference Feb 28 – Mar 1. Join us as we connect with our network of churches for our annual Spring Conference. God is calling us to gather together and release one voice to release the glory of His presence and power, and to keep our nation and the world open to hear, build, and establish Jesus as King! Services/breakout sessions will be at 10am, 2:30pm and 7pm both Thursday and Friday. There is something very powerful about connecting with our family across the US! Message us for more details.

Thank you all for your prayer and support; we couldn’t do what we do without your faithfulness.
