Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

Hi Friends,

The last couple of years, we have learned that promises in the Word that seem too good to be true are actually setups for expecting and anticipating more. As we step into this New Year, one of these declarations has been brewing in our spirit. Jesus is quoted as saying that, the Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John; since then the gospel of the kingdom of God is preached, and every one is forcing his way into it (Luke 16:16). What a promise! As we learn to live out the gospel of the kingdom as Jesus taught it, the message will prove so attractive that everyone will want to know our precious Jesus. Is that even possible? We choose to imagine there is more that we will see as this great season of harvest unfolds. Thank you for going on this journey with us. The display of His power and presence is increasing.

Sally and I logged enough air miles in 2018 to circle the globe five and a half times. Which has meant that each time we returned from a trip we have found ourselves anticipating and packing for the next one. But in this moment we are thrilled to have some priceless time at home! Thanksgiving was wonderful; we enjoyed each other as a family so much. Then we made a brief trip to visit our dear friends Daymond and Jenny in Juneau, Alaska, for a time of precious fellowship, wonderful food and amazing scenery. They really did spoil us!

We arrived home just in time to get ready for Christmas. We love and treasure family time and we take the opportunity to share His love with others in a special way. Our time together over the holiday was a delightful mixture of camaraderie, fun and way too much food. We were sad to see the kids and grandkids go out the door as they headed home. We sure do miss them.

For the first couple of months of 2019 we plan to slow down a little so we can catch up with ourselves. We have quite a few things that need our attention here at home and with the busyness of this last year we have fallen a little behind in our writing. As much as we enjoy all we do, sleeping in our own bed really feels good.

In January we’ll do a brief road trip to Tennessee for the Elevate 2019 conference with Mike and Andrea Brewer. Then in February we travel to Belize for a week to hold meetings with some new friends Oliver and Dale.

Then in March the pace picks up again with a trip to Europe where we will be ministering in Holland, speaking at a conference in France and spending a few days ministering in Switzerland. Actually, you will be able to keep up with our schedule on our new website.

Within the next week we will have most of the features of our website up and running. We are excited about using this platform to keep those who follow our ministry better informed, and it will also help us develop the broader partner base we need for this next season. So take a sneak peak at steveandsally.org and watch it come to life.

One special feature on the site will be “Sally’s Journal” where she will share her devotional thoughts on a regular basis. The first few of these are already posted and we are really pleased with the way it is turning out.

Thank you again for being on this journey with us, we are so honored to be used by God. Oh, to hear Him clearly and follow Him closely.
