Live To Love
Hi Friends
We have just returned from a wonderful week in Brazil. We spent a few days with Chad and Alexandra, a young couple who are like family to us. We are so excited about the call on their lives and the impact they will have on their generation. Then, with Alexandra traveling with us as our translator, we flew to Londrina, Brazil to meet up with Kim Maas, Blaine Cook and the rest of the team. Our week together was both exhausting and exhilarating with training each morning and then each of the speakers traveled out to a different church each night with part of the team for healing meetings.
Each night we saw God move powerfully both during the service and as the team prayed for the sick at the end of each meeting. As a whole team we ministered to over 5000 people during the week and saw more than 1500 healed. We saw blind eyes open, deaf ears hear and watched the lame walk, so many wonderful testimonies. Then to top it all off, 219 gave their lives to Jesus.
The last night was an amazing service with over a thousand people attending. The worship was amazing and even the kids were lost in the presence of God. During the ministry time we saw at least 250 healed as the team gave words of knowledge and as the people prayed for each other. Then we rejoiced with heaven as 68 people responded to the invitation for salvation when they witnessed the goodness of God at work. What an amazing moment we live in.
What a privilege to see hundreds saved and healed as people witness the presence and power of God. The great joy on these trips is not just what we see in the churches but also the changed lives of those on the team who travel with us. Seeing the look in the face of an engineer when they see a blind eye open or watching the face of a nurse when she feels a tumor disappear under her hand never gets old.
We have a couple weeks home, with just enough time to get our taxes done and fulfill our jury duty before we fly out to the Activate conference in Destin, Florida and then on to Tucson, Arizona for a weekend with Bob Sawvelle and the Passion Church.
