Paralytic Healed

Last night we were speaking at the Agape church with a Global Awakening team On the way to the service Sally felt she heard the Holy Spirit say God was going to do an extraordinary miracle during the meeting. After a short message I asked anyone in the room who needed healing to stand and about a third of those in the room stood to receive healing. Sitting on the front row was Max, a young man in his late 20’s who didn’t stand when everyone stood, Sally looked over at Max and felt a deep stirring of faith for his healing. So she walked over to him looked him in the eye and told him to “stand up;” he responded immediately and stood to his feet. Then she said, “come” and some of the team helped him began to walk with shuffling steps toward the front of the platform..

Only when he began to give his testimony did we realize the extent of the miracle we had just witnessed. Max was born a paralytic with no feeling below the waist and had never been able to move his legs, much less walk. He told us that he had spent most of his young life on a bed until eventually he learned to get around, using crutches by swinging his legs and torso forward. The moment Sally told him to stand; he said he felt electricity go though him and he began to feel his legs for the first time in his life. Then, when she told him to come he looked down at his legs and realized he could move and control his legs and take his first steps. He was one happy man!

Several of the team soaked him in prayer until the invitation was given for salvation and then Max was on his feet again and one of the first to “walk” to the front to give his life to Jesus
