Beyond

Holy Spirit, I know You are calling me to be willing to venture beyond anything I have experienced of You and Yours. I have no idea what that will mean, except that I must be willing!

Please, Lord, help me to step out and be willing.

It almost seems like I am being asked to stand on the highest height on which I may ever stand and to jump off. Or maybe I’m to face a massive body of water and walk off onto it.

What is beyond, none of us know or have any understanding, but there is a calling out to us – all of us, “Are you willing? Will you say ‘yes’ to what is uncertain?”

It is exciting and frightening at the same time. Willing to take a risk is our next place in God. Trust is really what this is about. Where are we in our trust relationship with God?

And this is also about KNOWING THE VOICE OF GOD! Hearing what HE is asking of us. We are not to just do or say things without knowing that it is God asking that of us.

What would it look like if the whole Body of Christ was to say “yes” to His question – “Will you trust Me to take this next step?”
