Rest before Rest

We can get so involved in the things taking place down here on the earth and around us that even our sleep is affected, and that will affect a beautiful part of sleep. God gave us a wonderful look into Who He is when He caused us to be able to dream. When we dream we enter into unexplored territories.

Dreaming can take us beyond the limitations of our daily routines, but if we are deeply involved in earthly things, that is probably what we will dream about.

However, by entering into His rest as we prepare to retire each day, we can enter into a realm that is difficult to describe – that realm is in Him!

Things that we’ve not understood will become clear to us; creativity will open its doors to us, and adventures in our relationship with the Lord will become realities to us. He will even give us insight into the days ahead.
