So many words have come as we enter 2020. Many are about “not looking back” or “not depending on what has happened in the past.”
We have always known that to “move on”, we have to advance or go forward. In the military, in preparation for marching, the troops are told to “march in place” first, then are commanded: “Forward, march!”
Let us then consider a few things as we prepare to advance. When in Brazil in February of last year, the Lord began to stir in me a deeper focus on Proverbs 3:5,6. We MUST realize the necessity of trusting Him with our whole heart; everything about us must trust in the Lord.
As with all the places the Lord sends us, our mission is to train the Body of Christ to take His power (signs, wonders and miracles) onto the streets or wherever we go. The Lord then told me that our expectations must be raised and reminded me of Eph. 3:20, “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us…” Yes, I thought. But He then gave me three important words that we must walk in. Those words are truly important to us in this era.
The words are:
Trust – Proverbs 3:5 & 6.
Obedience – obedient boldness, Acts 4:29 & 30
Risk – courageous enough to step out of our comfort 1 Chr 28:20
The primary key to walking in this way is to listen for His voice, believing that you will hear.
